Dr Dane Jacks, Doctor of Chiropractic, has completed additional training in assessing and caring for babies and young children. He's a dad too, so he knows how much a new baby changes life at home, and how much you want to understand what's going on.
What happens at the appointment
Seeing a baby is very different from seeing an adult. Everything is done with light pressure and at your baby's pace, and we'll talk you through each step as we go.
Your midwife and health visitor stay the people to talk to about feeding, weight and development.
If your baby has a high temperature, isn't feeding, is unusually floppy or drowsy, or is struggling to breathe, get medical help straight away: call NHS 111, or 999 in an emergency.
